Do you wish you could respond more effectively to situations and conversations around you? Do you want to DO MORE? Allies & Advocates training equips you to offer support and intervention to those who are experiencing hate, bias, or prejudice. The session covers unconscious bias and microinvalidation, active and compassionate listening, mirroring, and making effective referrals. The goal of the training is to empower you to listen and respond with courage in order to meet the needs of those around you.
The training will be offered on multiple days throughout the summer but will cover the same topics in each session.
